My name is Laurent.
I was born in France in 1969.
My first encounter with Depeche Mode goes back to 1981 on the radio.
My first show was in Paris in 1986, which is the DVD “One Night In Paris”.
Since 1981, Depeche Mode has made music I love and sang the thoughts I have in my mind.
My musical taste has evolved throughout the years, but DM has always been there.
During some parts of my life, it was easier to be a closet fan, but it’s the only band I follow with such passion since I’m a teenager.
Every album release is a pilgrimage, which allows me to get back in check with my values and remember where I come from.
Going to several shows worldwide brings blissful positivity to my life.
I’m not religious, but I am spiritual.
A Depeche Mode concert is a mix of meditation and orgasm.
The story I want to share is 90% about the good life.
I drew a lucky number in the lottery of life, but there is 10% of darkness that needs to be addressed.
Dear DM is a podcast to share the life stories of devotees.
Of course, I will go first. Hopefully, others will follow.
Depeche Mode brought us a lot of good things in life.
We can give back by sharing our stories.
Please get in touch if you wish to talk about life and Depeche Mode in the podcast.
